Our monthly meeting, next Wednesday, October 4 @ 7:00pm

What we will be up to and what to bring:

• membership renewals are due
• we will talk about the CQA post card challenge
• brainstorm what demos we would like to see
• bring any modern quilts (placemats, runners, quilts, etc.), colour pencils, crayons or markers that will be used for our demo to the Nanaimo Quilters' Guild.
• your sense of fun!

 

Our first sew-in of the year

It was a day with lots of activity at the Nanaimo North Library.  The facility is well lit and has LOTS of plugs.  We were busy as bees and had fun with Christine demonstrating to some us newbies how to paper piece.  Our next sew-in is November 18.  Join us!

Our first meeting was busy with membership renewals, catching up with "what I did this summer", discussing the modern approach to paper piecing and show and shares.
